摘要

Biogas technology offers an integrated solution to agricultural, environmental and energyrnproblems. However, the utilization of biogas for combined heat and power (CHP) cogenerationrnalone is insufficient to maintain economic sustainability of the biogas technology, especially forrnagricultural applications where a tipping fee as those for industrial or municipal wastes is notrnimposed. An alternative model is proposed here to more realistically examine the societalrncontributions of the biogas plant and determine the conditions for sustainability.
