Outline of development of remote sensing in China in the latest years

摘要

Great progresses in development of remote sensing, geographical information system and applications have been achieved since 1990s. The activities of remote sensing and the geospatial information technology in general have ever enhanced. The 15th National Symposium on Remote Sensing of CHINA was a national platform, on which the latest progresses on remote sensing have been presented. In this paper the latest activities both in field of technical development and of applications were briefly described.
