Interaction of light with atmospheric components is a major problem studied in the field of remote sensing and atmospheric propagation. Generally, mean atmospheric profiles are used to compute radiative transfer. But here, the sensitivity of radiances and transmittances to the climatic conditions is tested. The goal of this study is to evaluate and quantify atmospheric components variations that influence radiances and transmittances for airborne limb viewing observations. In particular, radiance variations are analyzed according to the variations of temperature and of different atmospheric molecules. This radiance variability is related to the water content and temperature modifications.
