Drought monitoring of Spanish forests using lnadsat TM satellite images

摘要

In this work we combien spatial data from a Digital Forest Map of Spain, the Second National Forest Inventory and TM images to explore the differences in the spectral response of several vegetation types in three years with strong differences in water availability. The results point to the possibility of discrimination between dry and humid years based on the NDVI, although drought conditiosn affect in different ways to the several vegetation types.
