摘要

This paper proposes a new statistical technique for evaluation of system reliability based on the experiment data sets of its components. The proposed technique is applicable to most systems and most types of data sets of components, including various life data, reliability growth data etc, and highly compatible with various satistical evaluation methods for component reliability. Also, winterbottom's (1980)~[1] method and Bayesian approach are special cases of the new technique.
