The HCF Automotive Relay Reducing Size and Costs for Automotive Systems

The automotive industry is continually on a quest to reduce size and cost of its components and assemblies. Hella Electronics Corporation has developed a relay that will help to address this ever-present issue. The HCF relay is a single pole, single throw, normally open automotive relay which has been designed to replace the standard mini and micro sized relays in a more compact design without sacrificing performance. This will allow Tier 1 suppliers of Power Distribution Boxes (PDB) and other switching boxes to produce smaller products, using less material and improving the packaging choices for the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
