摘要

The stage Ⅱ cofferdam of the Three Gorges project is a high earth-rockfill cofferdam constructed in deep running water. Vertical cutoff wall of plastic concrete was constructed in the dumped filled materials to achieve a cut off. Since there is plenty of decomposed granite which was excavated and abandoned at the project site, but lack of aggregate for plastic concrete, so the new plastic concrete adopted decomposed granite as the aggregate is developed. The local clay is added into the concrete to make it flexible. The uniform design theory and artificial neural network are applied to optimize the mix proportion to meet the design requirements. The proposed plastic concrete was successfully used in Three Gorges Project.
