Eurofix moves forward: European developments over the past year

The current standard for transmission of datarnthrough existing Loran-C stations, known asrnEurofix, has come a long way. From merely anrnidea in 1989, through intensive laboratoryrndevelopment and simulation in the 1990’s andrnfirst on-air experiments in 1997, Eurofix isrnnow well on its way to large-scale deployment.rnThis paper highlights the milestones in Eurofixrntechnology that have been achieved over thernlast year, and tries to give an outlook to thernfuture as to where to go from here.
