摘要

This paper introduces the case-based reasoning method to evaluation slope stability, and it also puts forward a case retrieving method using grey-relational theory. Apply this new case retrieving method into practical slope engineering cases, the results are satisfactory and show that the method is simple and reasonable. By comparison with retrieving results of Euclidean distance in the same condition, the factors of safety errors by this new case retrieving method are smaller than those by Euclidean distance method, it shows that the states of optimal cases retrieved by the new method are closer to the actual states of target cases than those of optimal cases retrieved by the traditional method-- it proves that this new method has obvious advantage.
