In this paper the technology of pulping middle-stage effluent decolored by Fe/C micro-electrolysis process was studied firstly. The results showed that controlling suitable reacting conditions such as air quantity、initial pH and reaction time could be effective for the purpose of color removal. The best condition for treatment result were adding 0.5L/min air, the initial pH adjusted to 3, and 20min of the retention time, the color removal rate is up to 92.1%. The Fe/C micro-electrolysis was testified to be a prefer treating process. SEM showed the different surface of iron scrap before and after treated by Fe/C micro-electrolysis process. The deposition on iron scraps was analyzed by FTIR. The results of SEM and FTIR could explain the Fe/C micro-electrolysis have the functions of collection, filter and absorption.
