Dynamic Spectrum access and cognitive radio are attracting the attention of researchers worldwide due to potential of fulfilling the demands of spectrum for future technologies. According to the FCC 90% of the spectrum remains un-utilized for most of the time. Spread OFDM is one of the multi-carrier schemes to reduce intersymbol interference at MAC layer. Besides possessing the frequency diversity benefits, the longer symbol duration makes the system, frequency non-selective. This paper proposes the use of Carrier Interferometry codes with NCSOFDM systems to reduce the interference and PAPR. Furthermore, to investigate the performance degradations in Bit Error Rate and Peak to Average power ratio at different active user states under different channel conditions and to devise the novel techniques for the performance enhancement.
