摘要

This paper presents an electromagnetic susceptibility study of the performance analysis of a microcontroller under the radiation of 2.45 GHz electromagnetic field interference by using a gigahertz transverse electromagnetic (GTEM) cell. To study the coupling mechanism between the generated electromagnetic field in the GTEM cell and the microcontroller, different microstrip line is fabricated to simulate the coupling, by rotating the samples. Furthermore, to study the couplings, the termination of the microstrip line is also changed so that the electric field and magnetic field couplings between the microstrip line (MS) and the GTEM cell can be tuned. The study could be helpful for the microwave oven designer to understand and control the microwave leakage in microwave oven.
