Ⅰ IntroductionScattering characteristics of conducting bodies are of great interest in many problems, e.g., design of antennas for portable telephone, scattering by flying objects and buildings,etc. When the Galerkin-moment method with entire domain basis functions is adopted to obtain the surface current of such a conducting scatterer, the calculation of the impedance matrix is generally very complicated particularly for three-dimensional problems[1].
