The reactivity of these wood samples in degradation processes are investigated by the #alpha#r-#alpha#s method, using data collected in nitrogen and air with a simultaneous DTA-TG unit. The information from the thermal analysis data is complemented by heats of combustion, analysis of the heat residues and heat treatment at 110 deg C in an oven.
