Crystallization, melting and morphology of syndiotactic polypropylene

摘要

Syndiotactic polypropylene (s-PP) with constant syndiotacticities and different molecular weights have been studied through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) experiments. The double melting peak phenomenon are explained by the crystal structure change during melting. The single crystal morphology is observed under TEM.
