摘要

The objective of this article is to present a computational system capable of numericallyrnsimulating three-dimensional laminar incompressible Navier-Sokes fluid flowrnproblems written in primitive variable form, using parallel computing. A formulationrnusing a stabilized Finite Element Method and Fractional Step Method isrnadopted, and a second order stable monolithic formulation is obtained. An edgebasedrndata structure is used. Its main advantage is the reduction of the computationalrntime necessary for simulations as all coefficients are calculated in a pre-processingrnstep. The obtained results are in agreement with the experimental, theoretical andrnnumerical data available in the literature.
