In this study, a laboratory experiment conducted for experimentalrnconfirmation of the appearance of resonant phenomena in a narrowrnopen channel under waves. A theoretical analysis was also developedrnas the first step toward clarifying a theoretical resonant wave numberrncorresponding to the experimental conditions. Consequently, resonantrnphenomena in the channel were found at kL 53 n (k is the wave numberrnand L is the channel length). The maximum wave height in the channelrnwas more than nine times as long as the incident wave height.
