In dredging and reclamation, self-weight consolidation of marine clayrnneed relatively long time. In this study, to accelerate self-weight consolidationrntime laboratory large size column test were performed usingrnprefabricated vertical drain board. And also presented optimum time ofrnprefabricated vertical drain board insert. Prefabricated vertical drainrnboard-test result showed l/2 time to consolidation compared to Selfweightrnconsolidation-test. Therefore, It can be judged that in reclamationrnof dredged marine clay, prefabricated vertical drain board can usedrnto accelerate self-weight consolidation.
