摘要

In this study, the nonlinear dynamic behaviour of a laminated plate is investigated.rnThe thickness of the plate is varying parabolically in both directions and the plate isrnsimply supported. In-plane stiffness and inertia effects are considered. Therngeometric nonlinearity effects are taken into account by using the von Karman largerndeflection theory of thin plates. The equations of motions for the plate are derivedrnby the use of the virtual work principle. The displacement-time and strain-timernhistories are obtained and compared with the finite element results. The results arernfound to be in an agreement.
