Software adaptability in management information systems

摘要

Frequent changes in organizational environments and continued advances in computing and communication technology have created the demand for more adaptable software in Management Information Systems. Adaptability strives to implement the variability identified by domain analyses while managing the cost of implementation, use, and adaptation. This paper discusses system analysis and design for software adaptability, and proposes an adaptable software architecture for MIS. Consequently, the technique of extending data dictionary is analyzed.
