TWO ROLLER MILL AND HOW IT WILL HELP COGENERATION

The installation of two roller mills for attaining cost benefit has always been a subject of discussion since it's inception. The practical advantages in terms of cost benefit, technical up-gradation, better performance etc., due to installation of two roller mills are discussed here. Further, this papers also discusses about the performance and gain for the sugar industry in terms of RME, maximum crushing, higher primary extraction, gain in fuel, when comparing with four years authentic data. The sugar plant taken for this case study is having a tie-up with TNPL for heat exchange. TNPL is lifting the baggase for their paper plant and supplying equivalent coal to the sugar factory, hence the moisture per cent of the bagasse is certified by the TNPL, third party. From this case study, we can conclude that the theory of two roller mills profit concept are crystal clear and results in terms of cost benefit and performance are excellent. The statics are given in the tabulation. Overall, its advocated that two roller mill gives an additional revenue by reduction in moisture, increase in primary extraction of juice, reduced milling loss and considerable power reduction.
