Ghodganga S.S.K. Ltd., Raosahebnagar Tal. Shirw, Distt. Pune is a co-operative sugar factory situated at Nhavre having licensed capacity 2500 TCD & Plant was commissioned for its trial crushing during the Season-1996-97.Then after modernisation and addition in the machinery was done to improve the crushing rate with reduction in steam and power, which achieved considerable level by going for by-product unit like cogeneration and distillery unit to benefit the shareholders. Factory has achieved steam %cane from 50.80 during 1998-99 upto 36.63 during 2007-08. And power kwh/ton 31.48 during 1997-98 upto 12.50 kwh/ton. This has help to spare steam and power requirement of our newly commissioned 30 KLPD Distillary unit during season 2009-2010.
