Application of V-process in production of wind energy castings

摘要

Responding to the increasing demand of new energy industry and nuclear crisis in Japan, the demand of wind turbine castings will definitely leap, what's more, the conflict between lower cost and higher quality requirements will also be highlighted. According to the facts above, breaking the traditional manufacturing method and exploring new technology for wind energy castings will be a new coming challenge in foundry field. This paper presents the characters of V(vacuum)-process casting based on the production practice of ductile iron castings.
