摘要

Submarine pipeline is an important part of the offshore field production system.The pipeline may be damaged due to the load in diameter, additional load by storm, wave and other attack, erosion by seawater, abrasion by soil, earthquake, etc.The pipeline failure may lead to huge economic lost and even environmental pollution.This paper summarized some typical submarine pipeline damages and corresponding repair methods;introduced the characteristics of sea-lift, sea bottom;finally, focused research on one of the needing tools-ball flange: analyzed the capacity of angular readjust and seal;designed the flange and used ABAQUS to check the sealing performance in different pretightening load.
