摘要

In this paper, VIT smart switches are introduced and theirrneffect on improving the reliability of distribution networksrnis reviewed on an actual feeder. The results of thisrnanalysis are compared with those of the network withoutrnthis equipment and its effect on the reliability indices isrnpresented. This is done through numerical calculationsrnand network reliability index calculation with FailurernEffect Analysis method (FEA).rnBecause of the wide extension of distribution networksrnand since load points are dispersed and because of thernlarge number of equipment used, this method ofrncalculation is not applicable in large network cases andrnneeds long calculation times and high costs, and evenrnmaking mistakes in calculations is inevitable. Hence, inrnthis research, a real feeder in a distribution network onrnwhich VIT smart switches are installed and arernoperational is simulated in DIgSILENT PowerFactoryrnsoftware package. The main advantages of thisrnautomatically operated equipment are: operate in looprnrural network that are mountainous and impassable, fastrnnetwork reconfiguration, reliability improving and nornneed for communication subtraction.
