摘要

This paper proposes to study the effects of protectionrnsystem, when 8 MW synchronous generatorrninterconnected to distribution System of PEA. The threernphase fault is simulated using digital simulation andrnelectrical network calculation program (DIgSILENT).rnThe type and size of conductor, distance of distributionrnline, location of protection device, maximum power ofrnload, and location of load that are parameter of PEA, arerninvestigated. The results are shown that, in case of DGrninterconnecting with distribution system, if a fault occurs,rnfault current is increased and fault current from substationrnis decreased. It causes to maloperation of protectiverndevice.
