In polymer composites,the interfacial interaction between polymer matrix and fillers is a key factor that governs the properties of the final composites.In present work,the elastomeric composites consisting of graphene oxide (GO) sheets and butadiene-styrene-vinyl pyridine rubber (VPR) were prepared by co-coagulation process with different flocculants,hydrogen chloride and calcium chloride,in order to form two kinds of bonding interfaces,namely ionic bonding (HVPR) and hydrogen bonding interfaces (CaVPR).The interfacial interactions (hydrogen bonding and ionic interfacial bonding) were characterized by XPS and UV spectra.Comparison of the effects of the interfacial interaction on the properties of the composites was conducted.
