摘要

A numerical analysis is performed to predict the time of breakdown ofrnbeach or dune during severe storm. The process of cross-shore beachrnerosion and the change of beach profile are simulated, and using therncritical equilibrium analysis, the stability of beach slope is analyzed onrneach changing beach profile in a given time to predict the actual changernof cross-shore beach profile. The measured cross-shore beach profile,rnstorm surge level and wave height are used in this study and variousrnvalues of soil modulus based on the existing studies are applied in thernstability analysis of beach slope.
