WEIBULL DISTRIBUTION WITH A NEGATIVE LOCATION PARAMETER

摘要

This paper characterizes the Weibull distribution with a negative location parameter in terms of the shapes of density function, failure rate, and WPP (Weibull Plotting Paper) plot. One numerical example is included to illustrate the usefulness of the model in modeling failure times.
