The paper presents some ceramic joining materials and their application. It defines the basic requirements to be met by ceramic-metal and composite-metals joints, with particular attention to some chosen conditions under which they are likely to operate . The paper also describes the most important joining methods and techniques related to these materials, including their technological properties.
