Experimental Study on the Bearing Capacity of Suction Caissons in Saturated Sand

摘要

The static bearing capacity of suction caisson with single- or fourcaissonsrnis studied by experiments in saturated sand foundation. Therncharacteristics of bearing capacity under vertical and horizontal loadrnare obtained experimentally. The effects of load direction on thernbearing capacity of four-caisson foundation are studied underrnhorizontal load. The comparison of the bearing capacity of singlecaissonrnand four-caisson foundation, the sealed condition of caisson'srntop and load velocity ratio are analyzed.
