In recent years,computing power has increased dramatically.Superscalar,superpipelined CPU architectures,combined with rapid reductions in the cost of memory have brought high-performance computing to the desktops of the engineering community.Increasingly,these capabilities are being used to apply high-end simulation codes to previously intractable engineering problems.
