The development of meteorological satellite system in China

摘要

This apper descries the development of Chinese meterorological satellite,including polar orbiting meteorological satellites FY-1 and geostationary meteorological satellite FY-2.The characterizes of sensors and transmission are described.The data is open for public communities and can be shared with other countries.The saterllite data format is compatible with NOAA or GMS satellite so it is very asy to receive and process.
