REGRESSION TESTING OF WEB APPLICATIONS USING FSMWEB

Testing of web base-d applications presents a numberrnof challenges posed by the heterogeneity of hardware, operatingrnsystems, software platforms, etc. The distributedrnnature of web-based applications increases behavioral diversityrnand contributes to complexity. Many web applicationsrnevolve rapidly and experience frequent changes.rnThese characteristics also make regression testing a challenge.rnThis paper proposes a set of rules to identify andrnclassify black box regression testing needs depending onrntypes of changes to web applications. The approach isrnbased on the FSMWeb [1] test generation methodology.
