One of the major scientific undertakings over the past fewrnyears has been exploring the interaction between humansrnand machines in mobile environments. In this work, wernexamined how a mobile phone could inform users aboutrnpush services like incoming mobile phone call or SMSrnusing haptic feedback even if users are away from theirrnmobile phones. We made three vibrating rhythms andrnconducted an experiment on different people in order tornknow whether they can feel the difference among threernrhythm patterns or not. We used another mobile's phonernvibrating motor for this purpose which was meant to giverna haptic feedback to testers. Our results show that testersrnwere able to judge the vibrating rhythms with highrnaccuracy rate.
