Agent-based systems have received considerable attentionrnin both academia and industry. An agent is a componentrnof software and/or hardware which is capable of acting inrnorder to accomplish tasks on behalf of its user. Modelingrnthe dynamic behavior of agents is a challenging researchrnarea. Petri-Net models have emerged as a very promisingrnperformance modeling tool for systems that exhibitrnconcurrency, synchronization, and randomness. Thisrnpaper introduces a modeling process to describe therndynamic behavior of agents. We investigate using Petri-rnNets to analyze coherency and coordination of agentrnconversations.
