DAMOS model consider the research area as a macroeconomic-water resources system, in which the macroec-onomic input-output analysis was introduced to water demand/supply balance, the water investment was related with pollution treatment, water supply, the output of agriculture section was connected to food production etc. DAMOS model is a multi-objective optimal model, which includes GDP, COD, FOOD and ECO objectives and 9 modules. In addition a new LP model solving framework was also used to build, solve and debug the DAMOS model, which is built based on the open source LP Solver named Lp_Sol ve. Finally, an application of DAMOS model to water resources optimal allocation of the 12 provinces in western China was presented.
