Performance Testing on a Three Dimensional Composite High Strength Soil Erosion Trm (Turf Reinforcement Mat)

摘要

Synthetic mats and blankets have been used for more than 15 years for long term erosion protection in drainage channels, roadway embankments and other areas susceptible to erosion damage. The purpose of this paper is to present a state of the art research project to evaluate the performance characteristics of a new erosion control mat. This newly developed product consists of a three dimensional geosynthetic erosion control mat manufactured with a double twisted steel woven wire mesh used as a reinforcement.
