摘要

Normally-on driving under-gate field emission display panel with focus electrode (NOUG-F FED) is a kind of field emission device with high anode voltage to generate electron emission and negative gate voltage to prevent field emission. The focus electrode limits electron scattering also by applying negative voltage. The influence of different structural parameters on the emission property of the cathode is studied. Furthermore, optimal working point, modulation capability of gate electrode, cathode voltage property and focus electrode voltage property are investigated. The results indicate that of all the structural parameters, cathode width (Wc) and the distance between cathode and focus electrode (Dfc) have significant influence to the working property of NOUG-F FED.
