The current models of boilers and furnacesrnwhich are used in HVAC system simulationrnprograms are primarily concerned withrncalculating the heat output of the device andrnits fuel consumption. The formulation of thernmodels relies heavily on empirical terms whichrnare derived from manufacturers' data orrntesting programmes.rnDetailed simulation.
