摘要

This paper proposes a method for creating anrnextreme seven-day weather data set for HVACrndesign purposes and examines its suitability. Thernmethod involves reviewing data from 20 years ofrnweather observations and selecting a seven-dayrnperiod during which the weather conditions werernextreme. The dryeriodrndry-bulb temperature, the humidityrnratio, the solar radiation and other weather elementsrnwere obtained for one-hour intervals during thernselected period as the design weather conditions. Inrnorder to select a meteorologically extreme periodrnwith distinct weather characteristics, two weatherrnindices were used. The extremity of the designrnweather data was evaluated by determining both thernfrequency of occurrence of characteristic weatherrnvalues and the likelihood of the thermal loadrnexceeding the design peak load, which wasrncalculated using the design weather data. The resultsrnconfirmed the validity of using the data to determinernsufficient capacities for HVAC equipment.
