This study is aimed to contribute to energy saving andrnto achieve the indoor thermal comfort by preventingrnthe down draft along the window in building with lessrnheating energy than the common equipment, e.g. FCU.rnFirstly for the counter along the perimeter equippedrnwith the heat panel, the flow inlet, the flow outlet andrnthe declined plate over the counter, the 2-Drnsimulations of 64 cases with varying the configurationrnof the counter, the heat generation rate, etc. arernexecuted. As the result, the heat panel with 25% lessrnheat generation rate than the heat flux through thernwindow can prevent the cold draft under the conditionrnof the inlet width 8cm, the outlet width 8cm and therncounter plate declined with the angle of 30 degree orrnmore. Furthermore the executed simulation under 14rnconditions suggests the advantage of short-circuitrnphenomenon.
