The propagation of light in random waveguide systems with the short correlation length is discussed based on the numerical solutions of the coupled mode equations. The wave field of light consists of the coherent part and the incoherent part. The behaviour of the coherent wave is resemble to that of light in an ordered waveguide system. The power of the coherent wave is transfered into the incoherent wave by random coupling between cores. The power of the coherent wave decreases exponentially with propagation and the incoherent wave becomes dominant at a large distance.
