DISCONTINUITIES IN OPEN CIRCULAR CHIROWAVEGUIDES

Using a method which combines the multimode network theory with a rigorous mode matching procedure, we analyze the discontinuities in open circular chiroaveguides. Scattering and radiation characteristics of two step discontinuities in open circular chirowaveguide have been investigated. Effect of chirality and geometric parameters of the step discontinuity on the scattering and radiation characteristics is discussed in detail. The results given in the present paper are of practical significance in study of chiral components.
