Study on Adjustment Mechanism of Contribution Rate of China's Individual Account Pension

Based on the quantitative method, this study employs a contribution rate model, calculates the upper bound and lower bound of.the CRIAP by the increasing LEAR during the years 2000-2050 and analyzes the economy bearing capacity of employees at this contribution rate. The paper finds that the lower bound of the CRIAP under LEAR is lower than 8%, the upper bound of that ranges from 8% to 12%, and China's employees have the bearing capacity to shoulder that. Through the feasibility analysis of the adjustment to the CRIAP by LEAR, this study proposes some reasonable policy suggestions for the improvement of pension reform in China.
