Carbon bonded refractories play an important role for continuous casting, which are in the process of damaged mainly by liquid steel thermal shock that lead to cracking immediately or fracture in its combined with parts because of the thermal mechanical properties mismatch, and corrosion by slag or iron(steel) in their interface especially.However, it mechanisms were thermal shock damage and continuous reaction corrosion.The thermal mechanical properties control technology, control key steps of erosion, control combined with the structure and properties of carbon and through functional composite technology and some other countermeasures to realize continuous casting of the big three high efficiency and long life.
