摘要

This paper introduces a kind of compound forming process which is composed of cold and warm extrusion, and this process is used to produce eccentric cam. Its characters are as follows: the cam part is formed by warm extrusion after cold preforming, then, after rough cutting, the cam outline is precisely sized. The technology solwtes two difficult problems, the formation of eccentric cam and the precision of the cam outline.
