摘要

The PIV data measured in a supersonic flow typically have errors owing to insufficient traceability of particles. In the presentrnstudy, the errors in the PIV (particle image velocimetry) data are corrected based on the relation of particle drag coefficient tornparticle Reynolds number. A highly underexpanded jet discharged through an orifice is selected as a tested flow. The correctedrndata are compared with the data measured using MTV (molecular tagging velocimetry). As a result, the corrected PIV data agreernreasonably well with the MTV data.
