At present, most of the goafs are plentiful in water, and it is unclear about their distribution position, which hides a huge safety risk to the coal mining. Once water inrush happens, it will submerge the coal mine, and even more threaten the workers'life safety. Therefore, water enrichment detection in the goaf is a very important and urgent work and it also has a very important significance for coal mine safety production. There are many goafs around XuanDong No. 2 Coal Mine, so it is necessary to do the detection. Use transient electromagnetic method and seismic wave method to detect the goaf areas and its water enrichment around 2011 working surface, which can clarify the goafs distribution and water enrichment and provide guarantee for the mine safe exploitation.
