Research on the Impact on the Citizenization of Rural Migrant Workers from Urban-rural Dual System

摘要

This paper investigates the impact of urban-rural dual system on the citizenization of rural migrant workers. We mainly analysize the impact on the will, the ability and decision-making of citizenization of migrant workers by use of cost-benefit theory, threshold theory, then a model of citizenization of migrant workers under double bound is built. Our results show that the urban-rural dual system has obvious obstacles on the will, the ability and decision-making of citizenization of migrant workers. Therefore, the urban-rural dual system must be innovated in order to eliminate the institutional obstacles.
